I Woke Up Like This (On Makeup and Skin Insecurities)

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the post above. I signed up for Influenster about a month ago after reading Amber's post about her experience. If you're wondering how VoxBox works, she explains it better than I ever could, so go check it out! I completed some snaps and a couple weeks later was approached for my first campaign. Because Sephora is my go-to place for makeup, I was selected and not long after I received my first VoxBox in the mail. I was given the opportunity to try out the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Primer and Perfector in exchange for an honest review on Sephora.com.

As my photo illustrates, I was most definitely honest. My broken out skin is easily my biggest point of insecurity and self-consciousness. I used to have flawless, porcelain skin and then right around the time I moved to Ohio after college graduation- bam! My skin exploded. It gets especially bad in the winter, and nothing I've tried has done the slightest bit of good. I just have to cover it up as best I can, and wait for the snow to melt.

With that in mind, the #YSLToucheEclat would not be my go-to for covering up flawed, pimply skin. However, if you're looking for something that effortlessly blends your complexion and makes your face feel like a baby's ass, I can totally vouch for it. Seriously, I don't know that my skin has ever felt this silky soft before- it's unreal!

If you're a complete weirdo and want my full review on Sephora.com, you can check it out here. Otherwise, this zit-prone lady is outta here!
