Hump Day Confessions

I have become a coffee addict. I never wanted to be one of those people who are completely reliant on caffeine to function. But as it turns out I am. And I actually like the taste!
My baby fever is off the charts right now. It seems like all my favorite bloggers are making babies! Oh yeah, and I totally cried watching Snooki deliver her baby last night on TV.

I’m experiencing serious blogger’s block lately. Don’t get me wrong I’m still trolling everyone else’s blogs, but the inspiration to post on my own is zilch.

I’m waiting on one more w-2 to begin filing our taxes and I’m getting so impatient! I actually love doing taxes. Ask me to create a budget and I’ll cringe at the thought, but taxes are like a game for me. Enter in some figures and win money at the end. Woohoo!

I worked two weeks with my first day off on Sunday. Not really a confession, but I think it makes me a serious badass…and also justifies the extreme exhaustion I’ve been feeling lately.
Hubby and I started our 9-week course, Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University two Saturdays ago and it’s seriously rocking my world. It’s no secret around these parts that we’re in serious debt because of all my student loans, so establishing a plan to tackle it feels so incredibly encouraging. Can’t wait to share what I’m learning!

It’s hump day! And thank goodness, because I cannot wait for the weekend! Praying that I have Sunday off from my second job so I can watch the 49ers take down the Ravens. Go Kaepernick!

  3. I hate doing taxes but I really love budgets!! I'm in love with my excel spreadsheets!! Hey, I probably wouldn't be inspired to post if I worked 2 weeks straight either. Caffeine does nothing for me (wish it did) but I like coffee so I drink it at work anyways.

  4. I worked more than one job for a few years, so I definitely know how exhausting it can be! Hope it gets a little easier!

And, I've been having major blogger block too! It must be something in the air..

  10. I totally have the fever as well. I also like doing my taxes, but my husband doesn't trust me (and my math) so we bring them to someone.

  15. I wanna hear a out the Dave Ramsey course! I've ears great things, but not from people I actually personally know well. I'm hoping we find a church in NC that will go through it. It's so hard to be able to commit to it with Jon's unpredictable schedule, but I really want to do it. Let me know how it goes!
